Create a Culture of Security

The Department of Homeland Security is one of the newest groups to be featured on the agenda of ARC's World Industry Forum being held in Orlando. One track of the forum is dedicated to cyber security, a name that I think needs to be changed because it tends to convey to many of us that we needn't be involved. How many of us are invloved in cyber?

Well, in reality, if you are involved in most any facet of manufacturing, you are open to the threat of a cyber attack. The consensus is builing that manufacturers must create a culture of security awareness, just as most have previously created cultures of safety and quality awareness. Watch for more on this topic in the coming weeks.
